Storm Damage Roof Assessment in Vera, OK

Storm Damage Roof Assessment in Vera, OK

A storm damage roof assessment in Vera, OK gives you an independent look at your roof before an adjuster arrives. Hail and wind damage is easy to miss from the ground and easy to argue about on a claim.

On asphalt shingles, hail leaves bruises where the mat is fractured and granules are knocked loose, usually in a random pattern across a slope. We chalk-circle hits inside a 10 by 10 foot test square on each face so the count is documented. We also check soft metals like gutters, vent caps and downspouts, because dents there help confirm hail size and direction. Wind damage looks different: creased tabs, shingles folded back along the nail line, and missing pieces near rakes and ridges.

We separate storm damage from normal wear. Blistering, thermal cracking and granule loss from age are not hail, and a good report says so. That keeps your claim credible.

You receive dated photos of each slope, test square counts, collateral damage and the roof's condition before the storm where it can be judged. Vera, OK Roof Inspection does not do the repair work, so you can hand the report to any contractor you choose. Call (888) 679-3978 to book a storm damage roof inspection.
